WRITING
Alexey has written numerous short stories, short films, and screenplays. He is currently writing a western, an international noir thriller and an 8 episode TV Series (more info to come). Here are some projets that are out in the world.
"Vermessen" / "From Where I Stand"
"From Where I Stand" is a buddy comedy/drama about perspective. The film follows Rafi, a jaded land surveyor from Vienna, and his boisterous, unlikely assistant as they complete a job in a beautiful alpine village. Rafi's aloofness and guardedness collide with Andre's curious and social nature—but the two have more in common than they initially realize.
"Vermessen" was shot in Carinthia, Austria in 2025 and will premiere in 2026! Here is a trailer:
"The Obelisk"

The film follows David and Pliny as they navigate America’s apocalyptic landscape and evade the looming specter of the powers that be, while Elizabeth, a public relations manager, becomes embroiled in a potential cover-up with disastrous ecological consequences—but there's a twist.
